Dover Flower Club
NEW YEAR NEW HOBBY?
JOIN DOVER FLOWER CLUB TO LEARN ABOUT
FLOWERS AND FLORAL ART!
Dover Flower Club meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 7.15pm at
Whitfield Village Hall, Manley Close CT16 3LY.
We arrange a programme of flower arranging demonstrations, workshops to
develop flower arranging skills, talks and visits, all centred around our love of
flowers and floral art.
On 23rd. March the Chair of our club will arrange a workshop to help us to learn
new flower arranging techniques.
If you are interested please come along to one of our monthly events. We love
welcoming new members, and visitors are always welcome to attend any of our
meetings.

At the annual meeting on Tuesday 10th February at 2.00pm.our president and
committee members were re-elected. While the committee had a brief meeting the
rest of the members enjoyed a quiz and a cup of tea. Because this was an AGM we
didn't have any entertainment but the next meeting on Tuesday 10th March will be our
birthday meeting and we will be welcoming members of other branches to share our
celebrations. We will be entertained by the Kelly Gut Shantymen, a group formed in
2018 to raise money for the Walmer Lifeboat.
Our popular Annual Soup Lunch on Saturday 14th February in Temple Ewell village
hall was a great success with a good selection of soups to choose from. There wasn't
an empty chair to be had and all the soups were sold out. A nice way to spend a cold
Saturday.
